RACRESTER™ is a high performance elastomer separated into three classes based on the cross-linking group: active chlorine group, epoxy group, and carboxyl group.
Carboxyl group grades, including RACRESTER™ CUC, are generally referred to as HT-ACM and exhibit low compression set along with excellent long-term heat resistance.
Vulcanizing agents include hexamethylenediamine carbonate (HMDAC) and 2,2-bis [4 4-aminophenoxy phenylpropane (BAPP)].
Grade Description:
RACRESTER ™ CUC offers the best low-temperature properties among carboxyl group grades.
It is also suitable to applications where a higher level of low-temperature characteristics are required, such as use in colder regions.
