Mersalen® rLDPE NCY is high-quality recycled low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin produced by APK AG using their innovative Newcycling® process. This process enables the recovery of high-quality plastic from mixed and multi-layered plastic waste, which is traditionally difficult to recycle.
The resulting material, Mersalen® rLDPE, offers properties similar to those of virgin plastics and allows the replacement of virgin rLDPE in many demanding applications including flexible packaging, labels, films, and more, without compromising on functionality or appearance.
The rLDPE NCY PCR grade is produced by processing post-consumer waste (PCR). This grade is characterized by a melt flow between 0.9 and 1.4 g/10 min and a greyish color.
